They also have a large collection of raptors in cages and snakes in their glass homes. It is quite sad that some of the raptors are becoming extinct because of cruel heartless people. If you are attending the snake show and are adventurous, you can also put a snake around your shoulders - don't try this at home, snakes are dangerous! The show is free but to show some appreciation you can give a tip if you enjoyed the show. Africa at its best!

Then there is the sanctuary for water birds. When you enter through the gate it feels like you are entering a rainforest. Birds chirping every where, water running over rocks - peaceful. Lastly you can take a stroll through The Butterfly Park which is the first of its kind in South Africa and houses 30 different species of indigenous butterflies. The centre is unique because there is no other facility in the world that caters for indigenous species' only.

After your stroll through the bird and reptile park you can enjoy a nice lunch or a cool drink under the shade of a tree on the green grass while watching the birds from your perch. The staff of Wild Things is very friendly and helpful.
